DMA MODEL OF THE WEEK- August 22,2009

Todays fashion show Best in Red was a smash, it is one i will never forget. We had some very talented models at the show today. They really out did themselves today. We had a little bit of a rocky start but in the end I think we did a very fine job.

As the models train each week we get stronger and more poised int our appearance. Soon we will be an onstoppable group of men and women that will outshine them all.Congradulations ladies and Gentelman for a job well done and for all the support you have given me.

And congratulations to Darius Wylder for making MOW

DMA MODELS OF THE WEEK- August 15,2009

For today, downtown modelling agency only knows two colors BLACK and WHITE. All models who participated came in in either Black or White or combination outfit..

White shows purity and cleanliness and Black shows class and formality and combining both of them gives a sense of simplicity with style.

For the first time in DMA History we have 3 Models chosen as Models of the week, they gave Bella a hard time choosing. There will always be someone who will stand out among the rest and for this evening these 3 models stood up. Congrats models!

Heaven: "Ok I will start. I met Zion about a month ago at the agency. I knew then there was a connection. We started going out after class, hangin out , just having fun.Then, one day we knew this was for real and decided to make it official. And then we got the biggest surprise of our lives TWINS. Zion: "Well...I first met Heaven during my first couple of times coming to DMA for the fashion show. We would always joke with each other and she seemed to be a cool girl. She was great at flirting. It took me a while to fully pick up on it. LOL We hung out a lot after my first fashion show and really got to know one another. Soon after, we found out we were having twins!!! I was so excited and blessed. She quickly accepted my son, Zion, Jr, as her own. I have a great woman by my side, a great family and a blossoming career. What more can a guy ask for?"

THE SILVER LINE

First time I was able to attend a modeling class with Pisey Magic. Pisey is also a fellow model of mine at Classic with Style Styling Theme Event.

I was surprised how patient and kind Pisey was. She never give up until all the models gets what she wanted to say and until the models old and new feels how to walk the runway.

It was more of a simulation...the practice area was filled so we also have lags but we were able to fight it.

The picture above was what DMA called " The Silver Line" Pisey introduced the concept of symmetry and calling one by one as we exit the stage which we never did before at DMA.

Plus... Pisey gave us salary after the practice...small it may be but it came from her own pocket to encourage models to attend classes..so DMA models..hope you will attend next time..you will learn a lot..

I believe I was chosen to be the Model of the Week on May 16, 2009 because I did my best to assist the new models. Every week there were a few models who either missed the training or needed some individual assistance. I would always ask if anyone needed help and I would walk them through the procedures in IM's, so that it wouldn't clutter up the group chat. I am glad I was able to help the agency in this small way and it was a great honor to be chosen as the Model of the Week.

I became a DMA model simply because I have always wanted to try modeling and now had a chance. I went to many other agencies, and they found flaws with my appearance. Then I stumbled upon Bella's agency and she took me in right away.She says that every person is beautiful and you can be a model. It has been an honor to be with Bella the last month, and I will continue to work with Bella as long as she will have me. She is an amazing woman.Thank You bella for all you have done.

THE MAKING OF DMA

The agency was created in May 2008 on a idea from my loving sweet husband Michael who had this idea that i should be a model, so we went around to a few other agencies and we did not like the rules at the other agenices so Mikey decided that i should have my own agency where i can be a model and a owner of my own agency and hire who i want without out too many rules, yes it was a risk with all the other agencies out there but we did not care and its an exciting ride, we based the agency on rl modeling but with an sl twist and so it can be fun for all that work for us we keep the cost low for the model cause we want all to come and share in the modeling expirence we don't turn anyone away all are welcome to come work for us. Today the Downtown Modeling agency has over 400+ Models who are all welcomed in the agency as family and friends they are amazing and i am available to them 24/7 even when i am offline.

On July 08 we created a New Magazine that only uses DMA Models with our Dear Friends Peterpan String and his Wife Angelia Lupindo called Passion For Fashion Magazine and over a year later Downtown Modeling Agency can't be stopped, there has been a few that tried to derail us or copy us but there is only one DMA and i am proud to be the owner of the agency and to share this dream with the man that made all my dreams come true in both RL and SL my husband Michael Phoenix, I love you, My Mikey.

DMA MODEL OF THE WEEK - August 1,2009

August 1,2009 2pm SLT. DMA Sim is full. On this date is the DMA Beachwear Fashion. DMA Models came in in swimwear. I saw big smile on every man's face. It was a success. It was followed by a SPA/poolside party.

Heaven Pookes was chosen as the MODEL OF THE WEEK for BEACHWEAR FASHION.

"I am honered to become MOW for DMA i really didn't expect it, well nobody ever really expects it. I was very excited, we all worked hard this week for the fashion show and to me we are all models of the week. And I know to Bella we are all special and I want to say thank you to her for allthe support she has given everyone of us."

I started out in modeling with DMA giving me my first opportunity. I found the agency by just taking some pictures with the backgrounds that Bella provided. I placed these photos in my home and received numerous compliments from my visitors, who suggested I pursue modeling. I sent Bella an on-the-spot headshot and the rest, they say, is history!
My current personal goals include becoming DMA's male model of the month. Also, I would like to continue to book events and prove my skills. Eventually, I plan to become an SL world-renowned male model and overall entertainer.
My biggest modeling accomplishment so far is being chosen to walk in the DMA Beachwear Fashion Show on 8/1/09 at 2pm SLT. I'm grateful that Bella believed in me enough to provide a platform for me to live my SL dreams. Personally, I have met some really great people in the DMA family. That, to me, is the biggest accomplishment of all!
